These were designed to be kick mics, dual capsule dyn' and cond' in one shell, so its like having two mics on your kick that are inherently phase aligned. Handy! But they also sound excellent on loud guitar amps. at louder volumes you really appreciate having both the condenser AND the dynamic! And what about horns! Nice tracking horns with these. It is the coolest double mic'ing trick, so much to work with at mix time!!
