We have two BD M-88's. They are cool. On the kick drum but not right in the opening, bass amp or on a string bass if you can get good and close, horns at a safe distance, and its a nice vocal dynamic! It has an extremely broad freq. response, like down to 10Hz its still generating significant output. It can sound good on lots of things.
